Background Story
Saul Rossi was a common merchant in Rome he lived his life with his mother. He was a loyal Catholic man and prayed actively with his church. One day while selling product a young radical came in and told him of all the injustices the Catholic church was doing. Missing people, Death, and miss use of donation money. He asked him to donate his time and protest to get the old church back. He agreed and developed into an avid protestor.

As he became more dedicated he caught more and more attention. So the Vatican finnaly reacted and captured him infront of his store, locking him away in a basement. There they conducted experiments on his body, until he was sickly and falling to peices. He shared a cell with Koi[link] for a long time. The two talked often of their past lives, and when Koi broke free he vowed he would return and break Saul out.

A year passed and Sual was now a contorted and mindless hybrid they intended to use him for clean up of people they had to kill to keep their actions secret. Making his jaw unhinge to a degree to surpass the human shoulders. They also whipped his mind and tried to cancel out all intelligent thought in him. So his brain functioned at that of an infants, dribbling and crying constantly. They made him into a freak, long eared with crooked legs and a dogs face. From all the surgeries, viruses, and DNA coursing through him his average temperature skyrocketed. Making his breath appear as steam in the cold areas of the basement. They abused him constantly until the day came that Koi kept his promise and saved him from his situation with Sin [link] He instantly adored her because of the affectionate way she treated him, and he devoted himself to the "master" for all his days. She renamed him and gave him her own last name, treating and teaching him as a son. He functions as body pickup, still enjoying the taste of human flesh, and butler, watch dog. He loves everyone in the pack and has progressively become more normal looking thanks to corrective surgeries from Bly and Sin.

How He was Made
Dev was an addition to the Pack in 2005 I needed to make some character in the pack with a deformity. I also needed to link him to someone already existing in the pack. So I used him to bring out the real horror of the situation in the Vatican. Making it a more important point in the story then I had in the past. However Dev existed in the pack, he had NO color scheme or solid design until 2009. However he had always served as the butler figure and has always been a basic attachment to Tea's design.
